COVID-19 Testing & Vaccinations

The State is discontinuing the PCR testing program that the District has been using. Please refer to the County link below for area testing sites and resources.

Other Community Testing Sites: many of our local pharmacies now offer Testing options, however some sites may have a cost.

Households in the US can order 4 FREE tests delivered by mail from the federal government. Order at https://special.usps.com/testkits.

Health insurance must cover 8 at-home rapid antigen tests per person every month. 

People with MediCal or Medicare can take their insurance card to the prescription drop-off counter at a pharmacy and take home FREE tests. People with private insurance should check with their plan for free tests or reimbursement for purchases. 

 

People who test positive and have symptoms can get FREE telehealth visits by visiting sesamecare.com/covid or calling 1-888-897-1244. 

No cost, drop-in (no-appointment) vaccinations are available at many locations. Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule appointments prior to visiting sites to avoid long wait times. Walk ins will be accommodated daily until site capacities are reached. Appointments are required at some locations. Please see below for a complete list.
