The purpose of this grant is to assist the North County Fire Protection District in defraying the purchase cost of a new ambulance for medical transport, in light of North County Fire Protection District's added transportation burdens as a result of the closure of Fallbrook Hospital Emergency Department in November 2014, and the full hospital in July 2015.

The agreement is for $100,000 in four installments of $25,000, over a 48-month period, beginning with the fiscal year ending 6/30/16–from March 1, 2016, through February 29, 2020.
