Educational Workshop: Question Persuade Refer (QPR)

Hosted by: San Diego County Suicide Prevention Council

Come join us at the Community Health & Wellness Center for an informative event on Question Persuade Refer (QPR)! QPR is designated to teach anyone the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond.

QPR trains you on:

• Recognizing suicide warning signs
• Ways to initiate conversation
• Methods of providing help and hope

This in-person event will provide you with the tools and knowledge to make a difference in your community. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn and grow!

Hearing Screenings 

In honor of Better Speech & Hearing Month

Wednesday, May 29th from 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Screenings are provided by Dr. David Illich, Au.D., a doctor of audiology, at Professional Hearing Associates

Schedule a FREE hearing Screening to address not only hearing concerns, but tinnitus as well.

Screenings will include:

• Video Otoscope Exam, Allowing the audiologist and you to see inside your ears.
• Hearing screening to determine if further evaluation is required.
• Tinnitus screening

Information you need to know:

• Screenings for adults and children ages 12 and older.
• Bring hearing aids if you wear them.
• If time allows minor repairs, and adjustments can be made.

Blood sugar, BMI, and blood pressure screenings

• Copy of Results provided
• Provided by CSUSM Nursing program or Fallbrook Family Health Center
• Walk-ins are welcome but registration is preferred
• Cultivate Health Workshop will be offered as well as other community health resources.
